The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the Indian women's squad for their upcoming tour of Australia. Bharti Fulmali and Shreyanka Patil have been recalled to the T20I team, bolstering the squad led by captain Harmanpreet Kaur for the series Down Under.
Fulmali's return to the T20I fold comes after a significant absence since 2019, attributed to her impressive batting displays in the Women's Premier League 2026. She has delivered quickfire contributions, maintaining a strike rate of 191.66 for the Gujarat Giants. Meanwhile, off-spinner Shreyanka Patil rejoins the squad following a recovery from a lengthy injury layoff.
Patil, who last represented India in the 2024 T20 World Cup, impressed selectors with a five-wicket haul in the WPL 2026. The squads see minor adjustments from the team that faced Sri Lanka in December, with new ODI call-ups for Vaishnavi Sharma and G Kamalini, and Kashvee Gautam joining the 50-over lineup. Harleen Deol has been omitted from the T20I squad.
