India A secured their second consecutive ACC Women's Asia Cup Rising Stars title by defeating Bangladesh A by 46 runs in a closely contested final held on Sunday. The defending champions posted a total of 134 for seven in their 20 overs, largely thanks to a pivotal partnership.
Tejal Hasabnis played a crucial role, scoring an impactful 51 not out from 34 deliveries on a challenging pitch. She was ably supported by captain Radha Yadav, who contributed 36 runs off 30 balls. Their 89-run stand for the fifth wicket provided the much-needed impetus for India A's total.
In response, Bangladesh A struggled to chase the target and were bowled out for 88 in 19.1 overs. Leg-spinner Prema Rawat was the standout performer with the ball, claiming three wickets for 12 runs in her four-over spell. This victory marked India A's successful defense of the title they also won against Bangladesh A in the inaugural 2023 final.
