India vs SL: Asian Games Cricket Semi-Final Showdown!

Defending champions India are poised to compete against Sri Lanka in the second men's cricket semi-final of the Asian Games 2026. The Indian team, under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, boasts a powerful lineup featuring Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson, alongside a formidable bowling unit comprising Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh. Having advanced from the quarterfinals via a rain-affected match, India aims to start strongly.

Sri Lanka, led by Sahan Arachchige, presents a competitive team with key players like Niroshan Dickwella and Nuwan Thushara. The match is anticipated to be a close contest, especially as conditions at Korogi Sports Park are expected to become more favorable for slower bowlers later in the game. Both Asian powerhouses are determined to secure a place in the gold medal match.
