- India enters the final as the underdog against champions.
The mega clash between India and China is set to take center stage in the high-stakes gold medal encounter at the Asian Games. The Indian women's team is riding high on confidence following a 2-2 draw against the Asian Games champions during the World Cup in August. India has demonstrated a remarkable goal-scoring prowess throughout this edition of the tournament. However, they remain cautious of the Chinese threat and approach this final as the underdogs.
The Indian forward line has been exceptional, consistently finding the back of the net, particularly during the group stages. For the crucial final, they will need to maintain their clinical edge within the attacking 25-yard area. Breaking down China's disciplined defense and creating open-play scoring opportunities is anticipated to be a significant challenge, making their precision in front of goal paramount.
