India and Argentina concluded a series of three practice matches with a 1-1 draw, signaling fierce competition ahead of the FIH Junior Men's Hockey World Cup. The series saw India secure one victory, while Argentina clinched another, setting a competitive tone. Both teams utilized these games to fine-tune strategies and assess player combinations.

Indian head coach P.R. Sreejesh reported positive experimentation with various formations and pressing tactics. Despite acknowledging Argentina's skillful play, he identified areas for improvement in India's short passes, long passes, and aerial ball execution, stressing the importance of readiness for the upcoming tournament.

Conversely, Argentina's head coach Juan Ignacio Gilardi expressed satisfaction with his team's performance, despite initial challenges. He cited jet lag affecting their first match and a less optimal second game, while emphasizing the need to adapt to the fast-paced pitch. Nevertheless, he deemed the matches crucial for their tournament preparation.
