Summary
- Harleen Deol and Harmanpreet Kaur score half-centuries for India
- Arundhati Reddy returns from injury to bowl 9 overs for India
- India beats New Zealand by 4 wickets under the DLS method

On September 25th, 2025, India registered a solid win against New Zealand in a rain-affected warm-up match in Bengaluru. The match, which was reduced to 42 overs per side due to the weather, saw India outplay the Kiwis in all departments to bounce back from their heavy loss to England a couple of days earlier.
Chasing a revised target of 237 after the Kiwis posted 232/8, India showed no hesitation in getting over the line with 4 wickets and 10 deliveries to spare. Harmanpreet Kaur was fluent in her knock, scoring 69 off 86 balls, while Harleen Deol made 74 off 79 balls before retiring out. The duo put on a crucial 132-run partnership for the third wicket to set up the victory.
Earlier, New Zealand captain Sophie Devine struck a run-a-ball 54, but India's bowlers, led by Shree Charani's 3/49, restricted the Kiwis to 232/8. Pacer Kranti Goud and all-rounder Arundhati Reddy, who returned after an injury scare, also chipped in with two wickets each.
