India's 2026-27 domestic cricket season promises an action-packed schedule with a total of 1,788 matches planned across various age groups and formats for both men and women. The men's competitive calendar is slated to begin on August 23 with the Duleep Trophy, which will be hosted at the Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru and conclude on September 10.
Following the Duleep Trophy, the season will feature the Irani Cup, Ranji Trophy, Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and Vijay Hazare Trophy. Notably, the Ranji Trophy will be contested in two phases, with the second part commencing after the conclusion of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
For women's cricket, the domestic season is set to commence on October 26 with the senior women's T20 Trophy, concluding on November 20. Subsequently, the senior women's One-Day Trophy will take place from December 19 to January 10, rounding out a comprehensive schedule for all players.
