Earlier, Australia's innings was powered by a sensational 119 from Phoebe Litchfield, along with half-centuries from Ellyse Perry (77) and Ashleigh Gardner (63). Despite a sloppy fielding display from India, the hosts managed to restrict Australia to 339/7 in their 50 overs.
With this thrilling victory, India has booked their place in the final of the 2025 Women's World Cup, where they will face South Africa on November 2.
