22 Jul
Summary
- India trail England 1-2 in the five-match Test series
- Nitish Kumar Reddy ruled out with knee injury
- Anshul Kamboj added to India's squad

The India cricket team is gearing up to take on England in the fourth Test of their five-match series, which will be played at Old Trafford in Manchester starting July 23. The visitors have played well so far but find themselves trailing 1-2 in the series, putting them under pressure to perform in the upcoming match.
Unfortunately for India, they will be without the services of Nitish Kumar Reddy, who has been ruled out of the fourth Test due to a knee injury. Additionally, Arshdeep Singh and Akash Deep will also not be part of the squad, with Anshul Kamboj added in their place.
Despite these setbacks, India's captain Shubman Gill and the rest of the team will need to be at their absolute best to level the series. The opening pair of Gill and KL Rahul, who is having a stellar Test series, will be crucial to India's success. The middle order, led by Ravindra Jadeja and Rishabh Pant, will also play a key role.
The Indian team management will have some tough decisions to make regarding the playing XI, with the option of including an extra fast bowler in Shardul Thakur. However, they may opt to stick with the combination that has served them well so far, with Washington Sundar providing the all-round option.
Regardless of the final team composition, India will be determined to bounce back and keep their hopes of winning the series alive in the crucial fourth Test against England.
