India A's T20 World Cup Squad: Surprise Picks Revealed

India A will compete in two warmup matches in preparation for the 2026 T20 World Cup. The team is scheduled to play against the United States of America on February 2nd at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. This will be followed by another match against Namibia on February 6th at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru.

The selection for India A's squad has generated discussion, notably including Tilak Varma, who is also part of the main T20 World Cup squad, marking his return from injury. Other notable inclusions are Riyan Parag and the pacer Mayank Yadav. However, the article highlights concerns regarding the selection of Manav Suthar, wicketkeeper N Jagadeesan, and batter Urvil Patel, suggesting that other domestic performers might have been more deserving of a spot.
