Franchises must adhere to strict squad composition rules. They need a minimum of 18 players and a maximum of 23, including specific numbers of players from ICC Full Member countries, the UAE, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia. Teams also have the option to use one Right to Match (RTM) card on a UAE player.
