India's Abhishek Sharma has reclaimed the top spot in the ICC T20I batting rankings. This achievement follows his remarkable century scored off just 38 balls in Wellington, which powered India to a series victory against New Zealand. Sharma's performance displaced his teammate Ishan Kishan from the leading position.
In Test cricket, South Africa's Marco Jansen has made a significant leap, becoming the No. 1 ranked Test bowler and all-rounder for the first time. This rise is attributed to his stellar performance in the second Test against Australia, where he contributed crucial runs and took key wickets. South Africa captain Temba Bavuma also climbed to second in the Test batting rankings after scoring 179 runs in the same series.
