India's Shafali Verma and South Africa's Laura Wolvaardt and Sune Luus have been nominated for the ICC Women's Player of the Month award for December 2025. Verma was instrumental in India's 5-0 T20I series sweep against Sri Lanka, providing aggressive starts and amassing 241 runs at an exceptional strike rate of 181.20.
Wolvaardt capped off a stellar year by scoring three centuries across formats, including an unbeaten 115 in a T20I and back-to-back centuries in ODIs against Ireland. She accumulated 255 runs in the ODI series and 137 runs in the T20Is. Luus also delivered strong all-round performances, contributing vital runs and wickets in South Africa's series whitewashes against Ireland in both ODIs and T20Is.
Verma earned the Player of the Series award for her consistent match-winning contributions.
