Texans Offense: Top 10 Ranking Defies Criticism

The Houston Texans' offense is currently ranked among the top ten in the NFL, despite facing considerable criticism. Data shows the team is 10th in yards per play and 11th in points per game, bolstered by strong passing statistics. While the rushing game remains a weak point, the offense is generally improving, particularly in ball security and protecting quarterback C.J. Stroud.

C.J. Stroud himself is performing at a high level, ranking among the top ten quarterbacks this season. His statistics place him as a valuable asset, suggesting a contract commensurate with top-tier players. Despite initial struggles, head coach Nick Caley appears to have met the initial expectations set upon his hiring, indicating that the overall performance warrants a more nuanced evaluation of his tenure.
