Holmes' Illness Threatens Sunday Game Status
29 Nov, 2025
Summary
- Holmes is questionable for Sunday's game due to illness.
- He missed practice Friday with a newly acquired sickness.
- Darien Porter or Jamal Adams could replace him if sidelined.
Holmes, the 27-year-old slot cornerback, has been listed as questionable for the upcoming Sunday game against the Chargers. His participation hinges on his recovery from a recently developed illness that prevented him from practicing on Friday.
This sudden sickness introduces significant uncertainty regarding his presence on the field. The team will be closely monitoring his condition as the game approaches.
If Holmes is ultimately ruled out, the team plans to shift Darien Porter into the slot cornerback role. Jamal Adams also remains a potential candidate to fill the position, providing depth in Holmes' absence.
