Hocevar Apologizes for Contacting Logano

Joey Logano experienced a disappointing end to his race at the former Atlanta Motor Speedway during the Autotrader 400. Despite running a strong race, his car sustained minor damage, and his aspirations for a win were dashed following an incident on the track.

Zane Hocevar, driving the No. 77 car, made contact with Logano's No. 22 car from behind, initiating a spin. Hocevar swiftly took responsibility for the incident, expressing his apologies over the team radio. He stated it was completely his fault, describing the contact as minimal.

The outcome was particularly favorable for Hocevar, who had maneuvered his way near the front of the field. This incident, regardless of Hocevar's intent, significantly impacted Logano's race, preventing him from contending for the win.
