Hearts Aim to Rip Up Script in Title Showdown

Hearts head coach Derek McInnes has expressed strong faith in his team's potential to secure a historic Scottish Premiership title on the final day of the season. The Edinburgh club needs to avoid defeat at Celtic Park against the defending champions to clinch their first league title since 1960.

McInnes described the upcoming match as "pure box office" and highlighted the team's consistent performance, having led the league since September. He stressed the importance of a "big performance" and acknowledged the immense pressure his players have managed throughout the campaign, believing they have the courage and belief to succeed.

Despite facing a hostile crowd with fewer than 800 Hearts supporters in attendance at the 60,000-capacity stadium, McInnes is optimistic his squad can rise to the occasion. He stated that they have "ripped the script up so often this season" and are determined to do so one last time to create their own history and legacy.
