Haggerty Sparks Offense in Ranger Victory

In Sunday's 8-3 win against Philadelphia, utility player Haggerty entered the game in left field and contributed a single and a run scored. He was strategically deployed against a left-handed pitcher, replacing Evan Carter who has struggled in similar matchups. Haggerty, a switch-hitter who performs better against lefties, was substituted out when a right-handed reliever entered the game.

During the 2025 season, Haggerty played a part-time role for the Rangers, logging 12 stolen bases in 64 games. This marked the third time in his last four seasons that he achieved double-digit stolen bases despite limited playing time, showcasing his consistent speed and base-running ability.
