Gurnoor Brar Joins Duleep Trophy Semis Squad

India pacer Gurnoor Brar has been included in the North Zone squad for their upcoming Duleep Trophy semifinal match. This match is scheduled to take place at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bandi Kodigehalli Palya. Brar was recently in India's Test squad for the series against Sri Lanka, though he did not participate in any of the games. Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna were selected ahead of him for that series.

Brar has shown promise, notably taking a 10-wicket haul for India A during a recent tour of Sri Lanka, which significantly contributed to his team's victory. He has played six ODIs so far. Brar has expressed a strong focus on red-ball cricket, emphasizing its comprehensive test of a cricketer's endurance, mentality, and skills. He is expected to play in the Duleep Trophy semifinals, aiming to help his team reach the final on September 6 in Chennai.
