As of November 15th, 2025, the Gujarat Titans, the reigning IPL champions, have retained 20 players for the upcoming 2026 season. The Ahmedabad-based franchise has ₹12.9 crore available in their purse and a maximum of five slots to fill, with four of them being overseas slots.

Despite not winning the trophy, the team's management has decided to retain the core group of players. Shubman Gill will continue to be the face of the franchise, while other big names like Jos Buttler, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia, Washington Sundar, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Kagiso Rabada, and Rashid Khan have also been retained.
The Titans have also kept New Zealand all-rounder Glenn Phillips in their squad, but they have let go of their Sri Lankan all-rounder Dasun Shanaka and Afghanistan all-rounder Karim Janat. A surprising name on the list of players released by the Titans is that of South African pacer Gerald Coetzee.
