Juventus Transfer Talks for Rodriguez Stall

Negotiations between West Ham United and Juventus for midfielder Guido Rodriguez appear to be faltering, with reports indicating the talks are currently stalled. West Ham is experiencing a difficult period, having not secured a win in their last eight Premier League matches, placing them 18th in the league standings. The club is actively seeking reinforcements in the transfer window, focusing on both offensive and midfield positions.

Rodriguez, an Argentine defensive midfielder, has logged minimal game time this season, accumulating only 252 minutes. While his contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, West Ham holds an option to extend his stay for an additional year. However, given his limited involvement, it is deemed unlikely that the club will exercise this option, unless to protect their investment.

Despite the apparent standstill in negotiations, Rodriguez was previously linked with a return to his former club, Club America, in Mexico. However, Serie A giants Juventus had identified him as a key target for their defensive midfield needs. Current reports suggest the likelihood of Rodriguez joining Juventus is sharply declining.
