Giants Sign Veteran QB Allen
14 Apr
Summary
- Giants add QB Brandon Allen to depth chart.
- Allen reunites with passing game coordinator Callahan.
- Allen is expected to be the No. 3 quarterback.

The New York Giants announced Monday the signing of quarterback Brandon Allen, adding depth to their quarterback room. Allen, 33, is expected to solidify the third spot on the depth chart, positioned behind franchise passer Jaxson Dart and veteran Jameis Winston.
This move reunites Allen with new Giants passing game coordinator Brian Callahan. The pair previously collaborated during Callahan's tenure as offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals and more recently with the Tennessee Titans. Allen's arrival effectively replaces Russell Wilson within the team's quarterback lineup.
Allen has seen limited game action since the 2022 season. In his single regular-season appearance for the Titans last year, he completed 17 of 30 passes for 72 yards and threw an interception, playing behind rookie quarterback Cam Ward.
