Giants' Cam Skattebo Returns to Full Drills After Ankle Surgery
10 Jun
Summary
- Skattebo rejoined full-team drills after ankle surgery.
- He missed seven games in the 2025 season due to injury.
- He is projected to be fully ready for Week 1 of the season.

Good news has emerged for the New York Giants as running back Cam Skattebo has made substantial progress in his recovery. Skattebo successfully cleared a major hurdle during the team's second mandatory minicamp practice on Tuesday, returning to full-team drills.
This marks a significant step after suffering a dislocated right ankle in the Week 8 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles during the 2025 season. The injury forced him to miss the final seven games of that campaign. Before his injury, Skattebo had accumulated 410 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns.
With training camp set to begin at the end of July, Skattebo has another opportunity to practice during the team's final mandatory minicamp session. Projections indicate he will be fully prepared for Week 1 of the regular season, a welcome development for the Giants.
