This extensive summit included discussions with key figures like Steve Tisch, John Mara, and general manager Joe Schoen, alongside a tour of the team's practice facility.

Despite the significant effort, Harbaugh departed without accepting a deal, as he had a subsequent interview scheduled with the Tennessee Titans. Sources indicated that Harbaugh felt obligated to meet with other finalists before making a decision. The Giants had previously conducted an in-person interview with the coach, who was recently let go by the Baltimore Ravens after an 18-year tenure marked by a Super Bowl title and numerous playoff appearances.
