Georgetown head coach Ed Cooley will not be on the sidelines for the Hoyas' final nonconference game against Coppin State. This comes after an incident at the conclusion of their recent 80-77 loss to Xavier, where Cooley threw a water bottle into the stands, striking a child.
In conjunction with the Big East Conference, Georgetown suspended Cooley following the event.
