He was a steadfast supporter of the MND community, following his son Rob's diagnosis in December 2019 and subsequent passing in June 2024. Geoff played a crucial role in the development of the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease.
The £6.8 million centre, funded by donations, was a project he actively championed over two years, attending all development meetings with immense energy. His efforts helped create a lasting legacy for Rob and the MND community.
