Luciano Spalletti, preparing his Juventus side for an away match against Genoa, has highlighted the significant challenge presented by the home team, particularly at their Marassi stadium. Spalletti acknowledged Genoa's capabilities, noting their physical strength for set pieces and their tactical flair, inspired by Daniele De Rossi. He described Genoa as a team that combines grit with a combative spirit, posing a multifaceted threat. Juventus is aiming to build on their previous 2-0 victory over Lecce, although that win was not without second-half difficulties.
To secure a positive result, Juventus must maintain unwavering focus throughout the match.
