Gavi Nearly Missed World Cup Squad Announcement

Representing one's country is a profound honor, and for Gavi, this sentiment is amplified as he participates in his second World Cup. In a candid moment, Gavi revealed his apprehension about viewing the squad announcement, stemming from a fear of not being included.

It was Lamine who encouraged Gavi to watch the announcement. Despite any initial doubts, Gavi's consistent performance and crucial role in important matches made his selection highly probable. He also reflected on the significant impact of his injury, which necessitated a recovery period extending from weeks into months.

Gavi's life revolves around football, and he is committed to giving his all to achieve his ultimate dream of lifting the World Cup. Simultaneously, he aims to defend a record that his friend Lamine is eager to claim.
