UCLA's Jaquez Achieves NCAA Dream, Draft Bound

Gabriela Jaquez completed a remarkable four-year tenure with the UCLA Bruins women's basketball team, culminating in the 2025-26 season. This season saw her achieve personal bests in points per game, field goal percentage, and three-point percentage, while playing significant minutes. Her performance in the NCAA tournament was consistent, scoring double-digit points in most games, including the National Championship against South Carolina.

Jaquez's collegiate journey was deeply intertwined with her family's basketball legacy at UCLA, notably her brother Jaime Jaquez Jr., who currently plays in the NBA. Jaime was present to witness Gabriela's appearance in the National Championship game. She is widely anticipated to be selected in the first round of the upcoming WNBA draft, with mock drafts placing her as a top-10 selection.
