- The nickname 'Swazza' originated from his football playing style.

Wolverley Football Club is honoring a former mentor and coach, Aaron Mills, by naming its new mascot after him. The mascot will be known as Swazza the Swan, a tribute to Aaron, who tragically passed away on January 3rd from a strain of meningitis. The community was involved in choosing the name.
The nickname 'Swazza' was given to Aaron by a teacher at King Charles I school, inspired by his impressive football skills and the 'swaz' on his shots. His parents, Deniz and Anthony Mills, shared how incredibly proud they were of Aaron, especially after hearing numerous stories of his positive influence on people's lives following his death.
Aaron was diagnosed with Meningitis B days after complaining of headaches. Despite hospital treatment and brain surgery, he sadly passed away. Gavin Jones, the club's founder, described Aaron as a 'valued' and 'refreshing' young person who always had a smile. He felt naming the mascot Swazza was a fitting tribute to a great young lad.
