Florida has landed a significant commitment from four-star quarterback Davin Davidson. The highly-touted prospect from Sarasota, standing an imposing 6-foot-6, announced his decision to join the Gators.
Davidson selected Florida over other prominent programs including Georgia, Kentucky, and Auburn. He is ranked as the nation's 13th best quarterback prospect according to 247Sports composite rankings.
During his junior season in 2025 at Cardinal Mooney High School, Davidson showcased his talent by throwing for 2,360 yards and 23 touchdowns, complemented by a 64.6% completion rate and only six interceptions.
His arrival will bolster the Gators' quarterback room, which also includes Aaron Philo, Tramell Jones Jr., Will Griffin, Aidan Warner, and Aaron Williams. Quarterbacks coach Joe Craddock emphasized the importance of toughness and a deep love for football for players in the program.
