Florida Football Reloads: 50 New Faces for 2026!

Florida football's roster has been completely transformed for the 2026 season under new head coach Jon Sumrall. The team has welcomed 20 incoming freshmen and 30 transfers from various collegiate programs. This influx of new talent brings the total roster size to 112 players, with 62 returning members.

Coach Sumrall is actively getting acquainted with the new players as the team engages in strength and conditioning drills. He acknowledges the need for more depth along the offensive and defensive lines. However, he expressed optimism about the impact of transfers like Eric Singleton, a highly-rated wide receiver known for his exceptional speed.

Singleton, previously at Auburn, is expected to be a dynamic playmaker for the Gators. He brings experience and speed, having recorded 58 catches for 534 yards and 3 touchdowns last season. His reunion with offensive coordinator Buster Faulkner and receivers coach Marcus Davis, both familiar faces from his past, further bolsters his potential contribution to the team's offensive strategy.
