Her performance advances her to the state competition on June 9-10 at Bunker Hills Golf Club in Coon Rapids. Bolster aims for an improved finish this year after tying for seventh at state last season.
Owatonna's Carmen Jirele won the individual section championship, shooting a 149. Her team also clinched the section team title with a score of 651, significantly outperforming runner-up Lakeville North.
Other local teams included Rochester Mayo in fifth place and Austin in sixth. Austin's Ailani Thiravong narrowly missed a state qualifying spot by one stroke, finishing ninth individually.
