Fitzpatrick Slams Nix: 'Garbage Effort' on TNF

Ryan Fitzpatrick expressed strong disapproval of Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix's performance on Thursday Night Football. Fitzpatrick asserted that Nix is "not playing competitively" and that his effort on the field is "garbage." He highlighted Nix's struggles, noting his ranking last among qualified starters in yards per attempt at 5.6. Fitzpatrick believes Nix is not demonstrating the necessary competitive fire for an NFL quarterback, suggesting it's a matter of effort. He proposed that Nix needs to be benched and reminded of the significance of being a quarterback in the league. Despite these criticisms and Nix's difficulties, the Broncos managed to defeat the Seattle Seahawks 17-14 in overtime. This victory improved their season record to 4-2 as they head into Week 7.
