Ferrari's Saturday Struggles: Car Troubles Plague Team

Ferrari is grappling with a persistent "Saturday problem" following the Dutch Grand Prix Sprint at Zandvoort. Lewis Hamilton expressed dismay, stating that setup adjustments made to his car before Sprint Qualifying resulted in a completely different and less competitive vehicle compared to the earlier practice session where he felt confident.

While teammate Charles Leclerc qualified third and finished the Sprint race in second place, Hamilton's struggles highlighted the team's challenge. He reported that the car's performance degraded significantly after modifications, impacting his ability to compete. Hamilton indicated that the team would implement further changes in an attempt to resolve these issues.

The team's recent upgrade package, designed to enhance downforce and airflow, was intended to help them contend with rivals like Mercedes, McLaren, and Red Bull. However, the Zandvoort circuit's demands quickly exposed the car's unpredictable nature, particularly its tendency to change character between practice and qualifying sessions.
