Fantasy Football Breakouts to Watch in 2025

As the 2025 NFL season approaches, the fantasy football community is closely monitoring several players who could be poised for breakout campaigns. One such player is Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who had a relatively disappointing rookie season in 2024 from a fantasy perspective, despite being the clear No. 1 target in the offense.

Harrison finished his debut year with 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns, but he ranked third in the league in end zone targets (17) and ninth in air yards (1,518), suggesting he could be one of the 2025 fantasy football breakouts to watch. Additionally, Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and Patriots quarterback Drake Maye are among the second-year players looking to take another step forward after strong rookie seasons.

Maye, who only played in 10 games last year, had at least 17.7 fantasy points in seven of those contests. With an improved supporting cast and expected increased opportunities as a runner, Maye has moved up the 2025 fantasy football QB rankings. The model also identifies Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange and Jets running back Braelon Allen as potential breakouts to target in 2025 fantasy drafts.
