Summary

- Cutler's messy divorce with Kristin Cavallari continues with public feuds

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler is currently serving a 4-day jail sentence in Franklin, Tennessee, after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor DUI charge. The incident occurred in October 2024, when Cutler was involved in a traffic accident and showed signs of intoxication, including slurred speech and refusing to take field sobriety tests.
As part of the plea deal, prosecutors dismissed a weapons charge Cutler was facing. The 42-year-old was also ordered to pay a $350 fine, serve a year of unsupervised probation, attend a DUI safety course, and have his driver's license suspended for a year.
Cutler's legal troubles come amid his ongoing public feud with ex-wife Kristin Cavallari, whom he divorced in April 2020 after seven years of marriage. The former couple has continued to take shots at each other on social media, with Cutler recently slamming Cavallari for claiming she "never got a penny" from their divorce settlement.
During his 12-year NFL career, Cutler earned an estimated $128 million, playing for the Broncos, Bears, and Dolphins before retiring in 2018. He threw for over 35,000 yards and 227 touchdowns in the league.
