England Cruise Past Serbia, Secure World Cup Spot
11 Nov
Summary
- England have already qualified for 2026 World Cup
- Serbia in danger of missing out, trailing Albania by 1 point
- England expected to win easily despite Serbia's best attacker Vlahovic missing

As of November 11th, 2025, England have already booked their place in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, winning all six of their qualifying matches so far. In contrast, Serbia are in danger of missing out on the tournament, currently sitting a point behind Albania with two games remaining in their campaign.
When the two sides met two months ago, England easily dismantled Serbia, even with their star striker Vlahovic available. Now, without their best attacking threat, it's hard to imagine Serbia causing an upset at Wembley. England have been in impressive form, scoring plenty of goals and remaining solid at the back.
While the hosts may take their foot off the gas a little since they've already qualified, they are unlikely to let their home fans down. England's manager, Thomas Tuchel, will be confident his side can secure another comfortable victory and maintain their perfect qualifying record.
