A meeting of Frankfurt's supervisory board is planned for the day after Tuesday's Deadline Day. The agenda is expected to include discussions regarding a potential early separation from Krösche, the 45-year-old architect of the club's 2021/22 Europa League success.

Internal uncertainty has been fueled by reported tensions between Krösche and the returning head coach, Adi Hütter. Initial talks about a mutual separation are anticipated shortly.

This potential departure comes as Krösche has managed another busy transfer window for Frankfurt. High-profile moves include Hugo Larsson negotiating a Premier League transfer, Arthur Theate nearing a move to Bologna, Michael Zetterer possibly joining Leeds, and Lilian Brassier expected from Rennes.
