Frankfurt Nears Coach Decision

Eintracht Frankfurt is nearing a decision in their search for a new head coach, following the departure of Dino Toppmöller. Negotiations with a prospective candidate are reportedly in their final stages.

It is anticipated that the club could unveil their choice before their next Bundesliga encounter against Bayer Leverkusen. In the interim, Dennis Schmitt and Alexander Meier will lead the team for their upcoming Champions League match at home against Tottenham.

While names like Jacob Neestrup and Kjetil Knutsen have been speculated, Marco Rose appears less likely, with his announcement not yet made and potential reservations about the role.

There is also a possibility that the club's sporting director, Markus Krösche, has been operating discreetly, keeping the identity of the new manager private.
