Wales Star James Extends Scarlets Contract

Wales international Eddie James has signed a new contract with the Scarlets, extending his commitment to his home region. James, who earned his first international cap in 2024 and has since accumulated 11 caps, has become a regular for Wales.

Despite having a year remaining on his previous deal, the 24-year-old opted for an early extension, expressing his deep connection to the club. His decision to stay at Parc y Scarlets is seen as a significant boost by the club's director of rugby.

James is the latest in a series of players to commit to the Scarlets before the 2026-27 season. The club has also made substantial additions to its squad, with 10 new signings joining the team, including former All Black Cullen Grace.
