Eagles Star Receiver Calls Out Offense, Meets with Owner

The meeting between Brown and Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was facilitated by the team's security chief, Dom DiSandro. During the 10-minute discussion, Brown reportedly promised to stop complaining about the team on social media. Lurie told Brown that he did not need to apologize for his frustration, and the two hugged after the chat, indicating that there is no bad blood between them.

Brown's comments were not necessarily controversial, as running back Saquon Barkley agreed with his assessment, saying the star wideout was "not saying anything wrong." However, Brown's repeated comments this year likely led to the meeting with Lurie.

The Eagles' offense has struggled this season, sitting 12th in points scored, a significant drop from their 7th-place ranking last year. Brown himself has not put up his usual numbers, on pace to finish the season with under 1,000 receiving yards for the first time since 2021.

Despite the current offensive woes, the Eagles are well-positioned to make the playoffs at 7-2. However, they will need to prove they still have the firepower to put points on the board when elite quarterbacks start coming to town.
