Fred Hale, an assistant strength coach at Notre Dame, is expected to join the Philadelphia Eagles. Hale is departing South Bend after a five-year tenure with the Fighting Irish.
He will take on a role as an assistant strength and conditioning coach under Nick Sirianni. Hale had previously worked at Eastern Michigan University, where he was co-director for sports performance.
During the fall of 2023, Hale served as the interim leader for Notre Dame's strength program. That year, the Irish concluded their season with a 10-3 record, including a Sun Bowl victory.
