Wicks Lands in Philly: Eagles Acquire WR from Packers

The Philadelphia Eagles have secured wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks, acquiring him from the Green Bay Packers on Friday. This transaction sees the Packers receiving a 2026 fifth-round selection and a 2027 sixth-round pick in return for the 24-year-old player. The move fuels ongoing speculation regarding A.J. Brown's potential trade from the Eagles after June 1.

Wicks is expected to sign a contract extension with the Eagles. This acquisition reunites him with Eagles offensive coordinator Sean Mannion, who served as the quarterbacks coach in Green Bay. Wicks played three seasons with the Packers, starting 18 games and recording 30 catches for 332 yards and two touchdowns last season. His most productive year was in 2023, when he finished with 39 catches for 581 yards and four touchdowns.
