The 2026 ACC/SEC Challenge matchups are set, pitting the Duke Blue Devils against the Florida Gators in a rematch of last season's contest. Duke will travel to Exactech Arena in December for this marquee early-season game.
Florida returns six of its top scorers, led by a formidable frontcourt trio of Thomas Haugh, Alex Condon, and Rueben Chinyelu. These players were key to Florida's strong defensive efficiency and rebounding prowess last season. They are expected to lead the Gators as a potential No. 1 team entering the 2026-27 campaign.
Duke has bolstered its own frontcourt with the return of projected first-round NBA pick Patrick Ngongba. They also add transfers Drew Scharnowski and promising rookie Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje. This matchup is anticipated to be a significant early-season test, highlighting a battle of the best big men in college basketball.
