Boozer Dominates: Duke Blows Past Stanford
21 Jan
Summary
- Cameron Boozer scored 30 points and 14 rebounds.
- Duke's defense held opponent's star player to nine points.
- Blue Devils return home for a week of rest.
Duke basketball achieved one of its most complete performances this season, securing an 80-50 victory over Stanford. Freshman forward Cameron Boozer led the charge with an impressive 30-point, 14-rebound double-double, showcasing his dominance on both ends of the court.
Key support came from Isaiah Evans and Patrick Ngongba, who also scored in double figures. The Blue Devils' fast start and stifling defense were standout factors, with Dame Sarr delivering exceptional on-ball defense against Stanford's leading scorer, limiting him significantly.
Following this substantial win on the road, Duke now returns to its home court. The team will have a full week to rest and prepare for their upcoming matchup against the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, who have faced an inconsistent season so far.
