Dragons eye victory, not revenge, at home

The Dragons are set to host Benetton this Saturday in the United Rugby Championship, aiming to secure their fifth consecutive win at Rodney Parade. This pursuit of home victory marks their best run since late 2019 to early 2020. The team has shown strong performances at home, securing wins against Lyon, Connacht, Scarlets, and Newcastle.

However, the upcoming match brings back memories of a significant Challenge Cup defeat in January. Benetton inflicted a record-breaking 74-21 loss on the Dragons in Treviso, scoring 11 tries and inflicting the third heaviest defeat in the Dragons' history. Despite this, forwards coach Sam Hobbs downplayed any notion of a revenge mission, emphasizing that the team has moved past the disappointment.
