Dodgers' Wrobleski, White Sox's Peters Named All-Stars
12 Jul
Summary
- Justin Wrobleski and Tristan Peters were added to All-Star rosters.
- Peters achieved a cycle for the White Sox before his selection.
- Injuries and pitching limits led to the roster changes.

Left-hander Justin Wrobleski has been named to the National League All-Star team, becoming the sixth Los Angeles Dodgers player selected. Simultaneously, Chicago White Sox outfielder Tristan Peters was added to the American League roster following his remarkable cycle performance.
These roster adjustments were necessitated by player injuries and other circumstances. Wrobleski replaces an injured pitcher, while Peters takes the spot of an injured first baseman. Another addition, pitcher Foster Griffin, also joined the roster due to a starter's high pitch count.
Wrobleski boasts an impressive 10-2 record with a 2.69 ERA this season. Peters, a rookie, is batting .303 with six home runs and is the first White Sox player to hit for the cycle since 2017. He becomes the second Canadian to achieve this feat.
