Tucker Rested After Knee Foul; Pages Nears Return

Dodgers right fielder Kyle Tucker was not in the starting lineup on Sunday, a day after fouling a ball off his right knee. Manager Dave Roberts stated the rest day was planned, coinciding with the team's scheduled off day on Monday, to give Tucker a chance to recover after playing in 10 consecutive games. Tucker did make an appearance as a pinch-hitter in the eighth inning. He has been a consistent player for the Dodgers, second only to Freddie Freeman in games played, starts, and plate appearances this season.

In other team news, center fielder Andy Pages is nearing activation from the injured list. Pages has missed the last 27 games since suffering a broken left hand on August 21. Upon his return, Pages will be eligible for salary arbitration as a Super Two player. Additionally, third base coach Joey Amalfitano and knuckleballer Charlie Hough were honored on Sunday as the 2026 recipients of the Tommy Lasorda I Bleed Dodger Blue Award, an annual recognition timed near Lasorda's birthday.
