Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks was arrested early on March 6, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. Police stopped a vehicle around 1 a.m. before arresting the 30-year-old player. Brooks was taken to the Scottsdale City jail and released after the booking process was completed at approximately 3:30 a.m.
The team released a statement acknowledging awareness of the situation and stated they are gathering more information. Brooks was reportedly respectful and cooperative prior to his release, and a mugshot was issued shortly thereafter.
